Improve the safety and efficiency of aerial work in trees through discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on experience at the MSA Climbing Workshop. Topics include gear inspection, gear showcase, anchor point selection, in-canopy work positioning, throwline, and more!

This workshop is designed for tree care industry professionals. Beginner to advanced levels are welcome, but it is encouraged that participants have some familiarity with fundamental rope and saddle tree climbing or have worked on a crew with a climbing arborist. Be ready to learn from some of the most skilled tree climbers in Minnesota.

Required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, proper work pants, and work boots

Participants need to bring their own gear (saddle, ropes, anchor points, climbing devices, and hardware). All climbing gear must meet the ANSI Z133 safety standards.
